    300 win mag

Posted by Robert Stafford on Jul 5th 2024

Well it has taken me a long time to Get this review done. I Bought the 300 win mag back in February, now I work a lot so it took me a few mouths to get out to my range to shoot it. I was using hornaday 195 match rounds, now they say to use 180 grain but I am looking to shoot 1000 plus yards with this gun. Okay out to the the range and the rifle fed the first round from the mag and the second, but after that it would not feed at all. I call them sent the rifle back they went through it and fixed it and got it back to me in two days!!!!! Now first time shooting it after getting it back and the rifle work with no problems!!!!! Finished sitting it in at a 100 yards with 8 rounds though a quarter sized hole!!! I was not very happy at first but now I may even buy another rifle from them!

    300 win mag

Posted by Michael Gosnell on May 12th 2024

I finally got to shoot this gun. And I love it. I own two other 300 win mags and have been shooting that caliber for almost 50 years. I have read a few things where people haven’t even shot the gun and have nothing good to say. But I was getting a 1 1/4” group out of the box. Now I need to find the round that it likes the best. It didn’t kick as bad as I expected, which is great. Other than the trigger, Great Lakes did a great job with this gun. Two thumbs up on this one. Thanks
