I bought this gun a year ago to hunt deer with in Iowa i like the gun the only problem i have with the gun is the ammo does not cycle right i have tried different ammo i have cleaned the gun an still have the same problem. I'M thinking about going to a 450 bushmaster an try that or i will stay with my .44 mag.

    350 Legend

Posted by Keven Lilley on Mar 21st 2023

I purchased a Great Lakes 350 Legend with a 16 inch barrel from Hilltop Sports. I did not realize Great Lakes firearms and ammunition was located locally here in Michigan. Not until after I made my purchase from Hilltop I discovered Great Lakes offerd the same rifle with a 18 inch barrel, which 8s what I initially wanted in the first place. I took my rifle to Great Lakes and they exchanged my 16 inch barrel with an 18 inch barrel. Even though I bought the rifle at another retailer!! I am completely blown away by their superb customer service and excellent quality products. I highly highly recommend Great Lakes Firearms and ammunition. I absolutely love my GRLFA Rifle. Thank you all so much for your elite service.

    Straight walled states legal

Posted by RR on Aug 19th 2022

If you aren’t clueless you know that you can hunt with a straight walled cartridge in states like MI and OH. Some of them limit the number of rounds you can have in the gun at a time though, so check your local laws. You won’t have a good day if you’re in the woods with a standard magazine and the state limit is 5 rounds. Michigan law, for example, states “…a rifle … capable of holding no more than 6 rounds…” probably why this Michigan company sends a 5 round magazine along with the rifle.
